The National Government of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) has applied for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Pacific Island Oceanscape Program – Second Phase for Economic Resilience and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services for a Communications Officer

The consulting services (“the Services”) include ensuring sound end-to-end contract administration in planning, implementation, and monitoring of project contracts for the successful implementation of the PROPER Project in FSM.

The National Oceanic Resources Management Authority (NORMA) is seeking to recruit a Technical Waste Expert to support the Project on a retainer basis and focus on all waste management aspects of the Pacific Islands Regional Oceanscape Program- Second Phase for Economic Resilience Project.

The FSM PROPER Project convened its mid-year Project Progress and Planning Meeting on July 10–11, 2025, at the FSM Central Facilities in Palikir.
